HC BluestoneManufacturingFabrication

Injection Molding

Computer controlled injection molding machines optimized for efficiency, repeatability and control.
Double-Injection Molding

Rotational double injection molding combines two plastic molds into one integrated piece in cycle.

Use different component materials and integrate them into a single piece.

Allows for other components to be integrated into the plastic molded part.

In-Mold Decorating (IMD)

Colour film inserts are inserted to make your artwork part of the mold.

Die cutting, computerized cutting and hand cutting of almost any textile.
Die Cutting

Heavier materials, tight corners and turns are all easily replicated.

Computerized Cutting

Gerber computerized cutting for optimal fabric yield and digital accuracy.

Electric Hand Cutting

Precision cutting from experienced technicians.

Experienced technicians man 4 textile floors.

Example materials available for stitching include; ballistic nylon, canvas, coated fabrics, cotton, cordura nylon, foams, leather, PU leather, ripstop nylon, vinyl & more.

Quality Control Snapshot

Benchmark process controls give us the lowest defect rate in the industry.
Quality Awareness Training

Quality awareness training is conducted regularly with every member of staff, not just the quality control department. This enables all workers to understand quality standards on both raw materials and manufactured products and parts enabling collective prevention through early identification of any quality concerns.

Incoming Quality Control

Materials are inspected by the quality control department as they are signed into each unit. The QC dept. maintain strict records on each supplier. Suppliers who do not meet standards are replaced. Our suppliers understand and respect our policies.

In-Process Quality Control
– First Article Confirmation

The first article must be confirmed by the QC dept. according to the customers standards.

– Technician Visual Examination

Each and every piece is inspected as it is completed. Defects are reported and discarded.

– Random Sampling

The QC dept. will conduct random checks a minimum of once and hour on unit production.

– Reliability Testing

Samples are tested according to customer standards in the QC lab.

– In-Process Improvement

If quality problems are identified the QC & Engineering dept. react quickly to improve production.

– Total Defect Removal

When a quality issue is found all previous defects are systematically removed.

– Data Analysis & Process Improvement

Quality control data is recorded on every production run to identify process weaknesses.

Outgoing Quality Control

The QC dept conduct a sample inspection of all goods before they exit works. This includes appearance, reliability and functional testing. All outgoing QC data is recorded and used for assessment.
